Doing a doctorate as a member of the BGTS
Doctoral students who are members of one of the participating programmes and those who are enrolled in the doctoral programme in Mathematics automatically become members of the BGTS.
Other doctoral students in economics, mathematics and physics can apply for a membership.

Prerequirements for an application
- Proof of a supervision agreement (or compareable document) in which the doctoral students commit themselves to a quality control after one year of their doctoral studies, e.g. in form of a seminar talk with discussion, a publication, an exam within a doctoral program.
