Light Microscopy Technology Platform of Bielefeld University
An increasing number of courses for bachelor- and master-classes apply microscopes and provide skills in advanced microscopy. For instance, students are introduced to fluorescence microscopy and confocal laser scanning microscopy in the modules 1, 3 and 6 of the master program "Molecular Cell Biology" (MCB). Currently, the Leica SP2 is located next the course labs, an Axiovert40 can be found in the MCB-lab and a mobile Keyence fluorescence microscope is available.
