Anke Hufer-Thamm studied Psychology at Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf where she received her Bachelor's degree in 2013. She continued her studies at Kassel University and finished her Master's degree in 2015. Since 2016, she has been working as a research assistant and Ph.D. student in the Department of Differential Psychology, Personality and Psychological Assessment at Bielefeld University in the DFG-funded interdisciplinary longitudinal study "Genetic and social causes of life chances. A genetically informative, longitudinal study of the life course and individual development (www.twinlife.de)". Her main research interests are behavioral genetics, personality assessment as well as social and political attitudes.
