About us

The focus area "QUAMU" (Quantifying and Managing Uncertainty) is constructed around the Center for Mathematical Economics (IMW), bringing together members from the the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics, the Faculty of Mathematics, the Faculty of Psychology and Sports Science and the Faculty of Biology.

Our goal is to combine techniques from decision theory, game theory, mathematics, biology and statistics to build interdisciplinary bridges that aid the understanding of uncertainty and develop robust approaches to tackle its challenges.
