Bielefeld Graduate School in Theoretical Sciences

PhD students of the BGTS are invited to request financial support for own scientific projects and activities. For instance, the BGTS could provide co-funding for small workshops organized by PhD students.

If you are interested, please contact the BGTS office and explain your plans and ideas. Your request should contain the following:

• Description of the project
• Explanation how the project fits into the BGTS (e.g., via an interdisciplinary component)
• Requested budget
• Preferably: Confirmation of available co-funding from other sources and/or explanation why the project cannot be funded by other sources

It is possible to request funding at any time. A funding decision will be taken as soon as possible by the executive board.
