The Volkswagen Foundation-funded research project "Turning Land into Capital. Historical Periods of (Re)production of Wealth in Latin America from the 19th to the 21st century" offer an excellent opportunity to pursue a PhD in a network of six universities linking Germany, Switzerland, Mexico, Ecuador, Argentina and Brazil: each of the project site offering scholarships for doctoral and/or post-doctoral positions.
