Dimitry Mindlin

Dimitry Mindlin is a PhD student at the Semantic Computing Group at Bielefeld University. He previously studied Intelligent Systems in Bielefeld, where he gathered experience and competence in numerous machine learning projects and later explainable AI. Dimitry also has startup experience in natural language processing, where he worked on extracting knowledge from unstructured text data in online reviews.
Dimitry has been working on explaining Black Box models via conversational agents at Bielefeld as part of the Transregional Collaborative Research Centre TRR 318 "Constructing Explainability" from July 2022. The focus of the subproject is to provide explanations  in the form of a dialogue in which the user can ask questions about the model and its decision.
