Since around 2002, we at the chair have been dealing with various aspects of demography-orientated HR work. Firstly, the Chair's work focussed on courses that imparted strategic-orientated know-how for timely preparation for the problem. In addition, several diploma and master's theses were supervised, many of them in collaboration with companies. Secondly, we analysed individual subject areas in more detail, in particular Staff induction (onboarding/placement), training marketing, Darwipotunism, realistic recruitment, employee retention, "neglected" employee groups, demotivation. Thirdly, these and other problem-relevant topics have been presented in various symposia and company presentations.
