Students are active in one or two fields of psychology for a total of 420 hours, either continuously or as a partial internship of at least 150 hours each. The activity is guided by a professionally experienced person who has usually graduated with a diploma or master's degree in psychology.
Please note that the average number of hours per week of the internship should not be less than 10h.
In addition, the internship should start at the earliest after the end of the lecture period of the 2nd semester.
Module assignment:
Module 27-BPrax1 and Module 27-BPrax2.
CAVE! Both internship modules (with 120h each for BPrax1 and 300h for BPrax2) are only booked AFTER the entire internship work (420h) has been completed. The requirement that a partial internship must amount to at least 150 hours is valid for all internships, the distribution of the hours to the booked modules is a mere formality, which is then automatically carried out when booking the overall performance in the examination office.
The subject-specific internship coordinators are available as contact persons for internships.
For information on (telephone) office hours, please refer to the website of the respective internship coordinator.
IMPORTANT: Please carefully enquire about the general procedure and the required documentation BEFORE contacting this information page. Experience has shown that most of your questions can be clarified quickly.
