General Information: The capital of Greece represents the cultural and historical as well as the economic center of the country. More than three million people live in the greater Athens area, making Athens one of the ten largest cities in Europe. The National and Kapodistrias University of Athens is one of the largest presence universities in Europe, again with over 100,000 students. The university comprises six faculties; the Institute of Psychology is part of the Faculty of Philosophy.
Study programs and specializations: The university offers a bachelor's program and two different master's programs with majors in clinical psychology or school psychology.
Study schedule: The winter semester usually begins at the beginning of October and lasts until mid-January. The subsequent exam period ends in mid-Feburary. The summer semester usually starts at the end of February and lasts until mid-June. The subsequent exam period ends in mid-July.
Other Information: Orientation days for Erasmus students take place at the beginning of each semester.
